  6 DAYS TO RACE DAY

2017 RACE

September 21st - So far, none of last year's first three men or ladies in the 10kms race have enteerd this year, though so often the trophy winners at the longer distance tend to enter on the day. Or we could have new names on the 10km roll of honour in 2017.
September 21st - Looking at the race entries, we have the second & third finihsers from 2016 entered in the 5kms race (JAMES DALE & MATTHEW PLUMPTON), and the 2016 Ladies Champion ELISE BLAKE and third placed EMMA POUND also entered.
September 21st - Both postal and on-line entries have now closed, with a total of 118 signed up for Sunday's 6th running of this event.  ON THE DAY entries will be available from 9.30am on Sunday morning at the Parish Hall at £8 for the 5kms race and £13 for the 10kms.  Please bring the correct money if you can - cheques should be made out to CAMBA EVENTS.
September 20th - The race clock has been delivered to-day.  All ready for the big day.
September 19th ~ One day to go before pre-entries close and we are up to 116 entries
September 19th ~ Your medals and trophies were received to-day - all in order and waiting for you to earn them on Sunday.
September 18th ~ With an unexpected rush of 10km race entries on-line today, we have now passed last year's record pre-entry with still another three days to go for advance entries.  On behalf of St Richard's Hospice and the Norton Community Games organisations, thank you all for supporting our event again this year.
September 17th ~ Pre-race entries have hit a new record to-day with 94 signed up in the 5km and 10km races, one ahead of last year's record 94.  Thank you all for your support.
September 17th ~ We are pleased to cnfirm that all of our on-line entries have been processed and numbers allocated.  Virtually all of these have been acknowledged by e-mail advising of your race number and that it is ready for collection on the day. We will acknowledge the final few entries received during today by the end of the day.
September 17th ~ Please note that on-line entries will be open at www.syuweb.co.uk until Thursday september 21st only - on-line entries will close on this date so that we can prepare databases for the results process. The only entries available AFTER September 21st will be on the day at Race HQ, priced at £8 for the 5km and £13 for the 10km races. Don't leave it too late to enter at the pre-event prices.
September 16th ~ Please note that postal entries close on Thursday September 21st - all entries received by this date will be returned as long as you have enclosed a stamped addressed envelope. Any entries received on September 22nd and 23rd will be processed, but your race numbers will have to be picked up on the day.
September 9th ~ Medals, trophies and race numbers are ordered for this year's Norton Fun Runs.
June 5th ~ On-line entries are now available for both the 5km and 10km runs at £10.75 for the 10km and £5.75 for the 5km.  Go to www.stuweb.co.uk and follow the instructions on their homepage.
